Stinging and sucking insects

Stinging and sucking insects include gall mite, lice, red spider mite and whitefly. These insects prick through the cell wall then fill the cell with air. The green leaves fade and there is a reduction in photosynthetic capacity, resulting in smaller or even fewer fruit.

Recommended products:

Salicylic acid does not kill these insects, but the application of products containing this ingredient reduces their reproduction by 25–40%. Apply SalicylPure or Argicin®Plus (or Algicin® in organic production systems).

The application of Ds-Lime in combination with ManZincum results in a number of physiological changes in the plant so that insects are no longer attracted to the treated plant.

SilicaPower strengthens and hardens the cell walls so that the insects find it more difficult to penetrate them.
